Remote · Europe and South Africa. Part-time. Hours that overlap Europe and South Africa.
About the role
A small team cannot afford a QA department. We do need someone who will break Kids Mode, Ambient, and calendar sync on purpose before a household does. This is part-time, remote, and next to engineering, not a separate ladder.
What you'll do
- Test household flows on web and Capacitor: login, invites, calendar, meals, Kids Mode, Ambient Mode.
- Write short reproduction notes, not novels. Include the device, the role, and the last thing you tapped.
- Watch permissions and two-adult edits, where bugs like to hide.
- Catch kitchen-tablet and small-phone issues before they ship.
What we're looking for
- Experience testing consumer or family products, by hand and with a light automation habit.
- Patience with WebView, tablet, and Kids Mode quirks.
- Comfort in a small team where you talk to the person who wrote the code.
- Based in Europe or South Africa, with hours that overlap CET and SAST.
