FAMLY started from a simple frustration: family life was scattered across calendars, lists, chats, and mental notes. We're a small team building a calmer home base, and working on a tablet that runs this app as the software on the device.
The calendar on one phone. Dinner in a chat thread. Chores on a sticky note. The milk, the dog walk, the school run, all in someone's head. We didn't want another chore app. We wanted one shared picture of the day that still feels like home.
Shared calendars so the school run isn't a surprise at 7:40.
Meals and shopping so dinner isn't a 5pm question.
Chores kids can actually see, and tick off themselves.

Who we are
People you can write to.
FAMLY is family-built software from a small team. There isn't a wall of founder portraits or a giant office to photograph, just people shipping the home base we'd want on our own counters.
A note from the team
Hi. We're a small team building FAMLY, usually from kitchen tables, spare rooms, and wherever else the Wi-Fi behaves.
We started FAMLY because our own family life was scattered across calendars, group chats, notes, reminders, and at least one person insisting they definitely told everyone already. Somehow, the milk still got forgotten.
So we're building the thing we wanted ourselves: one simple place to keep the week together, without turning family life into another job to manage. We spend a slightly unreasonable amount of time thinking about the little things, what belongs on the counter display, what should take one tap instead of three, and what can disappear entirely.
If something feels confusing, annoying, or just a bit off, write to us. One of us genuinely reads every note.
And if you'd rather help build FAMLY than just use it, we're hiring too.
But please, no “Is this still available?” messages. We've seen enough to last a lifetime.
A handful of people, not a faceless corporation. The Jobs page is real: designer, engineer, and QA. Europe-friendly remote.
We read every note
Contact isn't a black hole. Hello and suggestions go to a person. That's how we want a household product to feel.
Built for mixed homes
Parents, kids, grandparents, carers, and co-parents. Themes, Kids Mode, and Ambient displays that feel personal, not corporate.
How we work
Family life. Finally organized.
The same promise as the homepage, kept honest in how we design. Warm, useful, and quiet enough to live with every day.
Family-friendly
Parents, kids, grandparents, carers, and co-parents. Kids Mode for little hands, grown-up tools that stay with the grown-ups.
Practical, not preachy
Dinner, the school run, the milk, whose turn it is. Software that earns a spot on the counter, not another mission statement.
A calm home base
One shared picture of the day. A morning briefing, an ambient kitchen view, and fewer “did anyone…?” messages.
FAMLY tablet
A kitchen tablet, with this app as the home screen.
We're working on a dedicated FAMLY tablet, physical hardware that runs this software as the device itself. An ambient family hub on the counter: dinner countdown, what's next, weather, and the household pulse, without unlocking a phone.
In development. We're building it, not taking orders yet.
The app you can try today is the software that will live on the device.
Ambient Mode already works on a tablet you have. That's the kitchen experience we're designing around.
